Bringing Hope to the Homeless

Local corporations gathered at the Table for Ten culinary event on March 18, where they raised money to fight homelessness in Orange County. Hosted by IT firm Trace3, the event was held at the exquisite Balboa Bay Club & Resort, where 23 top chefs, including this year’s honorary chef, Marcel St. Pierre of Disney’s Club 33, prepared signature five- and six-course meals and wine pairings for about 250 exclusive guests. Proceeds from the affair benefitted the Project HOPE Alliance, an affiliate of the Project HOPE School, whose mission is to provide an academic environment that empowers homeless and economically vulnerable children to achieve their fullest potential through extracurricular programs. More recently, the alliance has also focused on finding permanent housing for the homeless through its Family Stability Program. “[We] are very excited to be the title sponsor for the event,” said Hayes Drumwright, CEO of Trace3. “I believe that corporations working together are our best weapon against the social issues the country is facing. We are proud to be fighting against homelessness and will continue our efforts for years to come.” —Ashley Breeding
